The four main types of Irrigation are; Landscape, Golf Course, Drip, and Agricultural. To chose one you must first decide if you are looking for an irrigation system for either commercial or residential use. Agricultural: This system is strictly commercial. They are used in Nursery's and farms, and their use is also to aid in the control of dust and frost, as well as utilizes waste water. Landscape: Is used in both commercial and residential use such as in parks, schools, homes, playing fields, etc.
Golf Course: These systems are different than that of others in that the system must cover a large area of land. Golf Course Irrigation systems can be much more advanced and expensive than others.
Drip: A drip system is used when one wants to conserve water or needs a low-volume irrigation system. For more information please contact Sara Clark at sara.clark@tamu.edu
