Mechanics Quiz

Please read all directions before accessing the online quizzes. Online quiz results must be recorded accurately to fulfill your AGCJ 404 weekly online quiz points. You only need to complete two required quizzes (step #5), but you can take as many of the Mechanics Exercises as needed for practice.

  1. Go to the main page for A Writer's Reference.
  2. Login with your e-mail address and password (upper right corner of page).
  3. Click the "Grammar Exercises" link, then click the "Mechanics" link for a second menu.
  4. Complete some of the practice Mechanics Quizzes:
    Exercises Topics
    M2-1 The Hyphen
    M4-1 Abbreviations
    M5-1 Numbers
  5. After completing the practices exercises, you need to complete the two required quizzes for this week:
    • M3-1 Capital Letters
    • M6-1 Italics (Underlining)
