Please read all directions before accessing the online quizzes. Online quiz results must be recorded accurately to fulfill your AGCJ 404 weekly online quiz points. You only need to complete two required quizzes (listed under step #4), but you can take as many of the Electronic Writing Exercises as needed for practice.

1. Go to the main page for A Writer's Reference.
   • Note: you need to register the first time you enter this site, including entering my e-mail address (g-wingenbach@tamu.edu).
2. Click the "Writing Exercises" link.
3. Complete some of the practice Writing Exercises:

   Exercises	Topics
   C2-1	Thesis Statements
   C2-2	Introductions
   C3-1	Conducting a Peer Review
   C4-1	Topic Sentences
   C4-2	Transitions

   • After completing each quiz (5 or 10 questions each), you can view your score and/or print your results.
   • You don't have to submit your scores; I get them online, but you MUST have entered my e-mail address correctly (hint: copy and paste my e-mail address into the login screen to avoid typos).
4. After completing the practice exercises, you need to complete the two required quizzes for this week:
   • C1-1 Purpose and Audience
   • C3-2 Choosing Appropriate Point of View
