We'd like to invite you to the 2008 Tilden Social, Saturday, May 3, at the McMullen County Lions Club and Community Center in Tilden, Texas.

For a $150 ticket you get: Donation to the Scholarship fund, Hors d'oeuvres, a steak dinner for 2 with open bar, dessert, dancing to a live band and a 1 in 200 chance to win $2,500, a 1 in 200 chance to win $1,000 and 27 chances out of 200 to win $100. Those are much better odds than the lottery.

If you have already purchased your ticket to the Social, thank you. If you are going to buy a ticket and haven't yet, we would like to encourage you do so as soon as possible.

The Fair Board would appreciate any suggestions or criticism you may have, as long as it is constructive.
